Thumbs up Thanks to all at THE TRACK

A personal thanks to Roman and Mimi for their hospitality given to all that attended the NATS. Zach and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and you staff made it a pleasure to be there. Hope to see you again in the near future.

    Roman & Mimi -

I had a blast. Thanks for the hospitality and the staging the event. I know it was a huge effort.

I look forward to visiting again soon when the Mid-Atlantic is in the house.

    You guys are the best.

    Roman, Mimi, Mom and Tess

Roman - thanks for all you have done for a successful 2003 Div I Nats. You are one of the main reasons for anyone to stay involved in slot car racing. The beer's on me when you come down to Red Jack's Raceway.

Mimi - thanks for hosting everyone for the last 10 or so days. Your hospitality was excellent. Will see you when we come in for a mid-Atlantic race.

Mom - thanks for the coverage of the Nats. It was great.

Tess - thanks for pitch hitting for Mom, you complimented Mom wonderfully. See you this weekend at Red Jack's.

Thanks also to Lamo, Lem for your efforts.

And let's not forget a thanks to whoever was in room 202 of the Comfort Inn the night of Aug 7 when they left something in the microwave prompting several of Gaithersburgs fire trucks to show up, evacuate the 2nd floor, and just provide some free entertainment. And to the guy behind the desk when asked if the guests should be concerned about the fire, he replys "Well we have evacuated the 2nd floor". Ya gotta love it.

    Roman...

Not many people know this about Roman, but I guess that I didn't realize how much it meant to me until the last day of the nats. Roman is the entire reason I went to the nats. I was offered to go by Gil of GT1 early in the year after he attended a race down at red jacks. At the time, the deal was, I had to keep my room clean for the rest of the summer in order for me to go....and...well.....knowing the way I am, I managed to totally trash my room knowing what was at stake. My dad ended up grounding me and telling me that I couldn't go. I was crushed, I couldn't beleive I had blown it. And no matter what I said, he didn't give in. And Roman, SOMEHOW, convinced my dad to allow me to go. I stil am clueless on how he did this, all I know is that I was pouting around about not being able to go, and my dad was talkin to Roman, and next thing I know, my dad is talking about how we need to pack soon!!!!!!!! Roman, thank you sooo much, I hope you realize how much it means to me and how much fun I had at the nats. I will definately remember this for a long time. If there is anything you ever need help with, or anything I can ever do, let me know. I would never have had the wonderful time I did if you had not somehow gotten my dad to let me go.
I also need to thank Greg Mills mom Karen. She helped me sooo much at the nats. She not only was the reason I was able to stick around for the entire week, and get the full nats experience, but she was wonderful to talk to, and she is the biggest sweetheart. I'm sure that any of you that have talked to her would know that.
Thanks to everyone, there are so many more, haha, and don't worry , I haven't forgotten you, I just can't type that much right now. Lol. Love everyone lots.........tess

Roman, don't listen to Running Mad about slipping him a few. There's a reason for his name. No wait nevermind about that. He's still got the cooler from our trip up there and it isn't empty.

Just kidding Brent old buddy. That cooler is still doing fine huh? Maybe I should watch it and the contents for you.

No prob hanging with ya, and can't wait for the slug fest in Tulsa.....hope everyone can come. I really am planning on sticking with racing for a long time. It's a blast. TAlk to everyone soon!
