Thumbs up A quick lap deserves a lot of respect.

P.A. Watson was cool and collected. He made his single warm-up lap and then preceeded to cut the new record without even looking at the car.
For most, it does not mean much because flat-out driving is not their thing. But the technology involved to accomplish such a feat is awsome and deserve the respect of anyone, even the people who cannot stand the look of the wing cars.

    TQ - Chuck Fredrick - 1.97
    Concours - Jim Brown

An awesome race, and Randy had a fast car, drove great and kept out of trouble to cruise to the win. Keith stayed within range, but a couple heats of bad traffic kept him in 2nd. Brian struggled earlier a bit, but finished strong.

Now we take a much needed dinner break with a HUGE Barbeque courtesy of Wendell Smith. I'm going to grab some grup before it's all gone!

Thanks to Scott Fisher & Chris Petrella for helping read me the lap totals while Keith was busy!

    Dinner was great! Buuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrp!

I was there for a couple of hours..

today and got to meet some of the people I've only heard about (as I have been out of slots for 30+ years). I can not believe how fast the cars are now; and that was just Amateur 27!
