It was a awsome race indeed!

The determination on Ron's face durning the race said it all! Man that Cheetah 7 was awsome! Congrats to Ron And Jay Both For Winning and podium at the nats! Ron's fast time was 2 tenths faster then the rest! I guess fast ones really is the fastest.

Casey Scott drove a great race, leading virtually the entire race. It looked like young Casey was going to get a win in his first ever Nats pro main but Ron got by with about a minute to go. No doubt about it, Ron’s car was much faster than anyone else. Tough loss for Casey but he should still be proud. Good run by Jay K. to get third place for the second year in a row. Congrats to all.

JK Big Boy Plastic Hubs, Wonder Rubber ground to .765"

    10/43 72 pitch GT-1 gears.

Outisight 333 GT-1 body. Part number OS-062GT Painted by The Boogieman at Boogie Bodies.

    Motor Specs

    Set-Up

Pro-Slot Mega II magnets, Hi Strength Air Gap set at .530"

    Fast Ones Part Number FO-820

Fast Ones SS Contender Armature .518" dia. 25 degrees timing.
( 25 degrees on this blank is the same as 35 degrees timing on a conventional blank) Balanced by Fast Ones. Gold Dust brushes, Fast Ones springs.

Fast Ones Part Number FO-360 B

The part number for the complete motor is FO-800

There are photo's of the car on the link to 2004 Scale Nats photo's

The car was much better than I was at driving.....I should have turned more laps in the main than I did, but falling off 20 or so times is not good for high lap totals. Casey Scott did a great job of driving his car and made for a close and exciting race. Jay Kisling who finished third ran the same car/motor combo that I did.
