Local hotshot - 16 year old James Loconto completes the hat trick, taking his 3rd Amateur National Championship title, and 4th podium finish of the 2004 Scale Nats!
Colin was in 2nd, until his problems began, then Gary stayed in 2nd. Jamy and Thomas battled for 3rd throughout the last half. In the final minute, Jamy had just passed Thomas, when she was a rider and hit the wall - bending her axle badly. She tried to limp around the track, but it wouldn't stay on at all, so she had to pull off, while the rest of the field passed by. Thomas hung on to 3rd, Phil Phillips 4th, Alex Molle 5th, then Colin dropped all the way to 6th, followed by Harold and Jamy.
Concours: Kenny Richins
