    Flats "Almost Live" Coverage

    Hey Gary!

I suppose I should have posted a note and link here, because I already had all the race results and photos from Friday night's Amateur LMP race posted down in the Race Coverage forum!

So - for OWH's "Almost Live" coverage of "The Flats" click here:

Thanks to Gary (Gearbear) and Glenn (Green Destiny) for the help in getting my wireless connection up and running! Now I'll have a full time high speed connection via wireless hook-up to Kirk's DSL all weekend, and I will post race results & photos following each race!

    Live chat too???

What with all that modern technological stuff at your finger-tips, there should be no reason why you can't organise a "live" chat session also

    Only joking.

Keep up the good work - it is appreciated

    Now go to bed!!

    Ron

PS Paul, what is your email address?? I have a spreadsheet with some comparisons that might be of interest to you

You're welcome. Although I probably could have told you in person earlier today. It was a learning experience for both of us. And thanks again for the magazine. Its really interesting because of the history involved and its got some really good content (no its not porno.) I'm done racing at the Flats this year. To the best of my knowledge the next PNW AMCA series starts in September, so hopefully I'll have a car and my controller in good working order. Thanks to Gearbear for lending me a Group 10 car. I suppose I should have gotten more practice with it. Its a different beast from LMP. Thanks to Kirk and Mark for putting on a good race (from what I've seen so far.) I'll see you all in September (hopefully.) Glenn

    Glenn,

I'm sorry I didn't get to help you with the 10 car. I was just too busy trying to get my cars in shape. I'm glad you got a chance to drive it. Contact me before September. I may have a deal for you!

No need to apologize. It was a fast car and it was my first Group 10 race. Later on I started gettting a better feel for the car. I'll get some work done on my controller and maybe that will help out. Thanks again. Glenn

    2004 American Flat Track Worlds

    Whew!

What a great weekend of racing!

I was somehow able to keep current on all of the coverage and photos all weekend, as well as getting to race in 4 classes as well!

I've finished adding caption info to the rest of the photos in the Photo Gallery, and all the results are posted in the OWH Race Coverage forum!
