Cool The action is fast and furious...

Thanks Paul for putting up the 2004 Western States Wing Champs section! I've been busy this Saturday (at the race track) racing and stuff and if you haven't heard there was a problem getting those lines dropped for dsl use. The pictures I posted Friday evening were from Forreswt home computer which is on a dsl line. Here at the track I can only get a regular phone line and it takes forever to load any pictures but it can be done. It's about 10:30 pm and the G27 race is in progress now. I'll have the results from the Spray glue race, Boxstock, Cobalt 12 and G27 at the end of the evening. I'll be able to post the results later this evening. I'll try to post some pictures here at the track (already posted a couple) and will do the rest when I get back to Forrest place. The racing has been good and exciting to boot.

Check the Western States Photo Gallery as I'll be posting as I go!

    Cool You're right!

The Owl was beat and fell asleep at the keyboard after Forrest dragged him to the track on race morning before the sun even rose. Made me thrash on slot car stuff all day and bearly even feed me! I started to post more picture after the race that evening and assemble the race results but fell asleep at the keyboards. I awoke in the morning with the imprint of the keyboard on my forehead! Now after a hot cup of coffee and rubbing my forehead with a hot towel, I'm back to report on the action! Here are the results of the one-motor open and G7 open event:

OK Folks! I posted a few more pictures onto the Western States Photo Gallery but I didn't get one of the G7 main event winners as they seem to take assemble and were gone before I event knew what happened. I'm going to get with Chris Radisich to see if he has a photo or with Scott Fisher as he told me he had one.

    Al,
Thanks for the results. I wasn't being impatient, just curious.
    I assume you were fried.
Congrats to Phil Larcom on his G7 TQ & podium finish.
Congrats to Rich Curnutte on his G7 win. I'll have to check the computer, but I think that moves him up into the #3 spot on Team Koford ahead of Greg Mills.

    Cool Hi Mike...

I really wanted to get the info up last night after the race being the bird brain race reporter that I am. But I was beat last night trying to do it and had to get some sleep! Richard drove a very good race as he was fast and stay out of trouble to take the win. And Phil did a really great job too and had a great weekend!

    Now I'm curious!

I'd like to know what kind of program or raking system you have on your computer! Is it anything like JP's???

Does that mean Rich now gets THIRD pick out of the "secret GOOD team stuff"???? LOLOL

Gee.... and Greg wasn't even there.... look what happens when he doesn't make it to a race, he gets demoted!

    Owl,

Thanks again for the great reporting and photos!!!!

I know it is a lot of extra trouble, especially when you've got thrashing and racing to do!!!

We all appreciate it very much!!!

    no DSL hook up....

    Hi Paul,

There was a problem with dropping a dsl line at the track so I used Forrest's DSL hook up at his place to do most of my posting of pictures onto the picture gallery. And I used a regular phone line hooked up to my laptop to do a little loading at the track, but it was slow! This was sort of my plan in the beginning. But I'm sure everything will be much better when offical OWH team gets here for the 2005 Nats.

    Paul,
As Greg's ranking goes up on the horny teenager list, it goes down on the slotracing one.

    Talking The real question is...

Does any of these guys move up in the Jean Pierre Van Rossem "World Rating" of non-Belgian racers?
