24fanphx, I feel very sorry for you and the other two men mentioned. I have been a tech inspector, race director, shop manager and everything in-between since 1970. NOT once have I ever caused such a ruckus as these few have done over nothing. And certainly I never ever published such comment about a fellow friend, customer and slot car racer. This to me is beyond what needed to be done if anything was needed to be done at all. So you borrowed a motor and practiced with it. It sounds like "sour grapes" by a few who admit they can not drive and crash 30-40-50 times a race. So when someone has a fast slot car they immediately think it is the motor. I have won many many races with an average or little better than average motor. The key in my opinion is handling and staying on the track an NOT crashing. My last two wins have been races I did NOT even crash once.If I were you I would NEVER race with those people again. This is a fun hobby and needs to be kept that way. Regards, Chris
