I sure like my S&K controller! 👍👍
Be careful what you ask for. The delrin may not wear out but it will definitely upset the handling of your car besides being Very Noisy. While wonder rubber is the default rubber currently used on...
Now if he would STFU about others peeps chosen rac'n, like can't we all just get along?
Where's the dang Like Button?
I have to ask first what kind of chassis are you working on? I won't suggest soldering bearings in except as a last resort. I have been using Loctite products for more years than I can remember. If...
They go to the same place as socks.
It was checked out by Dan just before he sold DR. New handles expertly installed, straight trigger and trigger ball bearings. 18 band, choke is 0-3-6-9-12-15-18. I haven't used it since it was...
Try any Ace Hardware or TruValue type place and head to their BBQ section., maybe even a big box store. World Market has them, and many Kroger stores.
While I do not want to add fuel to the debate whether 16ds are obsolete or not ;), I will say that this is the 1st time since 1969 that I've soldered such a massive boat anchor in the back of one of...
Mike C.-
So to answer watt I believe is your hidden question- "No, not all motors are created equal".
Did I feel these were a good option for a hand-out at this track? Yes.
I felt that...
On that long track I used 14/40 on the LMP, 13/41 on the G10. Both cars ran with .730 tyres with .062 clearance.
The PS-FK was a very nice motor in the LMPs. Good speed and great punch and brakes. With the lower down force BMW it made for a very quick car that still had to be driven, they were not full punch...
I may have a way of doing this. See me at the Nats next week at SZ and I can explain it.
Well, if ya can't trim the uprights, do the next best thing- Bend them out of the way

Just saw some at Pacific Raceway. Like dub said, talk to Jim.
Duff, please use "BPR" instead of "out west" when referring to things that are exclusive to that one place. As I have tried to tell many peoples out east, there are many different racing groups "out...
I'm up for just about anything on either track in classes that I currently race. That doesn't cover the NASCAR class, as the USRA class is nothing that we run up here. I haven't run a 16D sized motor...
There are a few locals that have a lot of time on that Hillclimb...... Just not recently
:)
I *think* that somebody didn't take in to account the thickness the plating adds when doing the design. Yes, the H&R are a real pain to build. I've had a couple of people ask me what I'd charge them...
Those French posted pix were taken when he and John Strachen were in Europe at a Pinky Point race, one of JPVRs extravaganzas I think it was '85. He and John won something like a 4 hour enduro with...
Dang Kidney Stones!
Uhh, two of the three cars have our barely discernible names names written on the bottom of them.
The white car is the one Dub ran, I ran the Yellow one. Dale's is the other.
Kewl, da pix made it.
Now to pack them up and send them east for another race.
I use the 1" kits and then use my own 1" motor bracket to build up my top line chassis.
