    reverse model?

Hey Gary! Question? All the original American Orange tracks that I ran on in the 60's and 70's had the bank on the left hand side of the track from the drivers panel on the straight away. Is this a reverse model?

    Kudo's Gary!

I would like to offer my help when you go to make delivery. if you can schedule it for a monday / tuesday delivery I'd be happy to lend a hand.

We are working on something for Joe to enjoy on his new track as well. A joint effort from me and popparat.

    Kamencrazy,
I expect to get 20-25 degrees in the big bank and a small
amount of banking in the other turns.

    Owl Chump,
Yea, this is a reverse or mirror Orange.

    Mark G,
I'll make the schedule work for you.

    Controller Set-up

    Gary,

I'm hoping to fly out with the controller after the track is set up. That way, I'll be able to help fit the controller to Joe's exact range of chin movement on-site rather than ship things back and forth until we get it right.

I'd most likely fly out sometime on a Friday...returning on a Sunday.

Gary,, I just clicked on, and got a look at this thred. All I can say is WOW !! As soon as joe woke up from his nap, I ran into his room to show this to him. He took one look at the picture of his track, and asked me if he was
Still sleeping? Needles to say,, He is beside himself. The track is awesome !! Its going to be perfect. I have shown the pic to joe off and on for the last 4hrs. He keeps asking me, Dad are you sure thats our track ? Words alone can not express how we feel right now. Thank you,,, thank you,,, This is all joe has talked about for the last 2 months. I have to be honest, Im pretty darn exicted myself. Wow our very own track !! Well, you can bet, this lap top will be sitting on joes bed from morning till very late at night.

A huge thank you to all ,who are helping make joes world a
little brighter. We cant thank you all enough.

    Thumbs up Hey Tricky

In 68-71 I raced on an original orange with the dreaded ss and the launching ramp. I had the ss down pat. The launching ramps.....thank god for wings...When they landed it was with a thump. The owner finally redid that portion of the track. With Garys 2008 knowledge, It will be easy to go fast on...But hard to go REAL fast.... WOW For us oldies that ran on an original....yours would be an eyeopener at first. But fun remembering good times. We will just have to put our bi-focals on backwards... Joe will love it....

Phill,,, Hey maybe you can get that OLD butt of yours up here to NH? And we can break joes new track in. Hey at our age we sure cant hurt it, however, I guess we could hurt ourselfs? I use to race an american black, and it was the most fun I ever had racing. Aside from having to stop every now then to reglue the braid in the ss . I think it was built in 64? The orange garys building is the next best thing. He didnt want to add the ss because he thinks it may be a little to tuff for joe. I have to agree. This is going to be a great set up for us. Cant wait. We may be adding on to our garage. AAhh a new man room?? we,ll see. Might even be a mini fridge with ice cold beer ?? Naa that might be asking to much, soda yah thats it, ice cold soda? NOT!!!,

    A VERY HAPPY Vic/Joe+Jennie

    Question Name that track!!

Good day to all, This morning apon looking at the pic of his track, Joe had a brain storm. Seeings that without all of you at OWH He would not be getting his new track,, He thought it only fitting, that we have the OWH family name his track. We thought maybe we could start a little contest, and let the OWH members pick the name. What do you think? I think its a great idea, and it will be a lot of fun too. Maybe we could give a little prize to the winner or something like that ? Let us know what you guys think. It sounds like fun to me!!

And mine would be: "Twisted Fender Raceway"
I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me.
