    1997 USRA Scale Nats

Modified MTT built by the Tunkels in 1992, Fastrax Raceway, Rodeo, CA. Track is 130 feet long, Beuf bought it from me and used for the Nats in Idaho a few years later. Many Bay Area racers remember this one!

The testerossa is a Gerding built mtt track at Slot Car Raceway in Rohnert Park, CA. Frank Sarkela and the rest of the SCR crew came up with the name. This was the 2008 scale nats flat track.

FYI - the photos with year identities are ISRA Worlds' tracks - Right?

"1999" is when Ernie Mosseti had the Ogilvie Super-8 that I also had in 2006 for the ISRA/USA Nats in McHenry, IL. This track is now at Lou Pirro's new shop.

I am glad to have owned and hosted national level races on two of these nice tracks so far. The first shown "LTD" is the Ogilvie LTD (then at Raceworld/McHenry) that Ernie also owned at one time, and is uniquely different from all of the Chris Dadds made LTD's.

Here some pictures of two more flat tracks:
    - the Eurosport track of the MRTU (Holland)
    - the track build by Perry Dekker for the ISRA Worlds 1994 in Dordrecht. The track is now located at Dison (Belgium)

JK or Proslot (original Hasse) built MTT (possibly the one above now in Toronto):

Thanks, Slapshot, That IS the JK MTT when it was installed in Broadview, IL . Hard to believe that photo is now 20 years old!

Some neighborhood kids would come in to play the pinball machines. We paid them in quarters to marshall practice while we were crashing .

Four lane tracks deserve a little love also. Many of the worlds best racers have spent a lot of time on them and their 1/32 clubs.

If I can get them scanned, I found photos of the Berwyn and Glenwood 1/32 club tracks from the late 1960's. Midwest brass pan car mania.
