    New Retro rubber

Bill Skinner has come up with a new Retro Rubber. It is firmer then the Blubber rubber and can be mounted on most size hubs. We will be doing some more testing next week. Rubber donuts are available now, complete tires will be ready next week. Should make for some fast racing for the July 10th retro race at Port Jeff.

    Donuts

Are available from the raceway only!

Crawley Dist and ERI have the complete tires and Big Red tire cleaner in stock.

Eagle has placed a order and should have some tires in stock next week.

I will announce a new tire and hub for scale and Retro racing very soon. A lot of racers have been asking when the Quads will be available for Retro, they have been ordered. You will be able to order them through the Dist's by the start of the new year.

We will also announce the list of part #'s and products coming out soon.

Hurricane Braid juice aka Blu Gu will also be released under the Stupid Fast label.

Skinners Epoxy will be back in stock by next week (raceway product only)

    Thanks

    Hey Doug...

It might be a good idea to add your web site or contact info to your signature line!
(this is a privilege extended to OWH sponsors... so use it!)

Believe it or not... there just might be OWH readers out there who may not know who you are or how to contact you! (shock!)

    Thanks Paul

I will do that. If they do not know me by now, they must be living in a cave.

Wow! Scale rubber... we need to know more!!!

Oh and Doug I think you have a typo in your last post. You added an "e" I believe that's spelled mils (millimeters) long?

With somewhere between 5,000 to 10,000 visitors to OWH Slot Car Talk PER DAY, I would venture to guess that at least some of these visitors may indeed be actual cave dwellers. Many cave dwellers are known to be avid slot car enthusiasts, and not all cave dwellers are primarily restricted to HO or 1/32 scales... and not all cave dwellers restrict their online activity to forums that cater mainly to those scales (or to cave dwellers).

I am personally aware of several tracks located in various caves (often affectionately referred to as "man caves"), where they not only indulge in racing 1/24 scale... but where the cave dwellers are always searching outside their cave for sources of products that may help them beat their fellow cave men. (ie: at least 3 or 4 1/24 club tracks in WA and all over the entire freaking state of OR)

Since some cave dwellers have actually found OWH Slot Car Talk online, then we can assume that some are also capable of skills including clicking on a link or even dialing a cell phone!

Retro Rubber is just such an item that may cause cave men to grunt "me want some" so they can club their fellow cave men in their club.

It is so often assumed, that all competitive slot car racers race in commercial raceways, read OWH, and know and love the infamous Bent Rim and the world famous Port Jeff Raceway (or even the former porn star Miles Long!). Yet, having personally been involved in both racing & dealing with cave dwellers, I can assure you that their numbers are many.

(side note: this also another reason why there are many such "cave dwellers" who rely on ordering via online or mail order, since they dwell in caves, use and/or meet in clubs, and do not have a local raceway).

What I guess I'm trying to say is.... post your freaking URL link & phone number!!!
(it can't hurt & you might actually sell something!)

While I thoroughly enjoy the jocularity on this site, could I get a sense of how the retro tires compare to Thunder as far as durometer numbers?
    Thanks Miles
