    Wow!

This is like the “professional wrestling” of scratchbuild threads. I am truly impressed! It just won’t die!?!?! We’ve had a simple thread for garnering some interest in scratchbuilding go through bouts of “I hate retro”, to "posts about why I won’t post”, and, my personal favorite, the endless human drama of “I hate them stupid stinkin’ rules”. I’d love to join in on the latter just for fun (even though it really is kind of like shooting fish in a barrel), but at this point all I have to do is write the word “ret-ro” and some overly-serious types blow a fuse…

Marty, when you do post a build sequence in here, is it okay if I hijack the thread to talk about the “K&S conspiracy theory”? We know they refuse to deny what they don’t know, so it must be true…

…Eh, then again, nevermind… Think I’ll go build something instead…

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming…

The gallery idea sounds cool too!

    H'mmm . . . . . .

Do I detect a bit of pot stirring on someone's part?

    Just a guess.

Let's keep it civil - no flames, no knives, no guns, no name calling.

Back on topic - we're talking scratchbuilding here, not politics of any kind.

Awwww, and here it was jus' gettin' FUN! Shoot, I was looking forward to doing some capricious snippin' & snipin' here in a place where there's less risk of certain folks taking me seriously. Ohh well.

Build on, we're watching & helping where we might; and keeping our comments appropriate. Whatever that is.

    Marty:

These post are part of the reason I don't want to post any pictures on this blog. Wrong place and wrong clientele. Made up of people who don't care about retro or are retro refugees who have gripes about organized retro racing's rules or the organizatins themselves based on the above comments.

Build on so maybe this thread will get back on topic, we'll have something to see or it will probably eventually get locked

BTW: I'm not refering to Duffy, he's my bud

    Rob,

    That is entirely your business.

I mean if you don't want to post photos of your work here, that is your choice.

However, as I stated earlier, I am just trying to help folks that have an interest in retro racing - and yes, Rick is very involved in retro racing - I simply want to lend a hand.

Each unto their own my friend, each unto their own.

Tomorrow we start out project. I'm still waiting, but we can start making parts.

So it is easily searched for, I am going to start a new thread so folks do not have to forage through 5 pages just to find the info they need.

Have a great evening and the fun will start tomorrow.

Dnn't lock out this one, though--we can keep using it as the "Scratchbuilding DISCUSSION" thread!

Looking forward to it Marty !

Pay no attention to Rob, he is wrong, there are people on this forum who are looking forward to learning more about scratch building.

Maybe you can put a link here to the new thread.

Excellent idea. Why didn't I think of that?

Post them and they will come if they are interested. Scratchbuilding is one of the few things that is an art and a science at the same time. Amazing after 40 years I that remembered how to solder and why I was doing it a certain way.

The only thing bad about retro is admitting that you remember doing it originally.
