Come on Ladies nothing to say?

For those of us who don't have the privilege of being born African-American or having hair that needs to be cut (me) may have thought we have missed out on tall tales and smack talk found at every great barber shop. Not so.
I've found comparable moments at Imperial Burger during race intermission and lollygagging at the official headquarters of Bancroft Motorsports.
And let me tell you, topics begin to deviate pretty quickly from car talk pretty quickly.Say what? Guys gossiping? Well yeah and then some. But it's really more than that.
People, events, and history itself seems to take on epic proportions like some cheap pulp novella or cheesy comic book adventure except that you know the characters. That's okay. Everyone needs to be part of something a little off the wall and slightly bigger than themselves to feel alive.
I for one am really glad I found a group of comrades through racing and SCRRA - and I just hope that everyone associated with our organization can appreciate those moments of shared revelry and fun. It's kind of like sharing a drink at a pub with your mates but without the headache of a DUI.
At least that's my take. Maybe you have your own.
And cheers to that.

Christmas is coming
I trimmed my beard last Wednesday & went to the barbershop Thursday for the first time in months. Now I'm good until some time in 2012.
I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me.
Well it is good to see you two over here, well Happy Christmas to you Zippedy even if its a bit early for that!
Love to hear that you got your face cleaned up Bill.
Lads I have to say that OWH is a great place for retro racers and the moderators sure are great over here.
Waiting for a call from Imperial Burger for the latest news from BPR, I will report back as soon as its possible.

My barber told me today that I will support S.C.R.R.A until we have one year anniversary!
After that I will join Zippedy to learn how to knit a sheep sweater, what else is there to do in New Zealand?

My Barber told me there is a cool chassis coming my way!
The cool thing is that this F1 chassis is not a cookie cutter style.
Love my barber but he can't cut my hair!

Well the year is over and my barber told me to do a calender of slot car racing at BPR?
I might do that for me but if some one else is interested let me know?
It will be a mix of D3 and S.C.R.R.A events through the year.
