A great deal for both of you!!!

Nice to see you're still at the keyboard behind the counter there. Hope someone thought to by you dinner! (and maybe lunch, too) for all of your efforts at keeping the race event information flowing to the internet! We appreciate it!

It was good to see you this week. Sorry I couldn't stay longer.

Thanks for the nice words all week about Justin, Alan. You too Greg! And, just for the record, Justin is 13. He turned 13 the day before the Nats begain. Also, Justin actually had one more win, in the Juniors race, but there was a low turnout (3) for that class and I don't think they felt it was worth posting...

But, yes, he did *REALLY* well. We knew he'd do well, but he seriously out did himself. 2 TQ's, 2 Wins, a third and a fourth, and he ran 4 classes.

As for flat tracks, he's been racing more on them, and is very competitive on our MTT now, and is catching the flat track bug... Next year he's wanting to run the flat tracks in addition to the banked tracks in the NorCal series, so that should be fun. :-)

We had a great time, and as always, Frank at SCR put on a hell of a show!

I do not think that anyone considered the Junior race not worth posting! But I'm guessing that the Junior race must have been the first race on Sat morning, which was about the only time that our ace reporter Owl Chump actually got some sleep... and was not there yet!

If somebody could please post the Junior race results (in a new thread here) or PM them to me, I will make sure they are posted.

Wow - just 13 and beating some very tough competition!!! To many of us geezers in the sport - it is always encouraging to see bright young talents getting hooked on our hobby!

When it was announced that Frank would be hosting the Nats I remember the original thought was that Justin would clean up in the AM divisions. When most of the AM divisions were done away with I doubt that anyone thought he would do as well as he did even a proud dad like you.

The fact is if you put a competitive car in his hand he is going to be trouble. Take note any of you major mfg's as this kid should have sponsors lined up to have him competing on a larger scale. Mike it doesn't surprise me that he is getting better at flat tracks as it was just a matter of time. I for one would really enjoy seeing him with a fast Eurosport ! Hey Mike, get him to the Flats and the Wade 500 next year. Those are both really good events that are not too far away for you.

This years plans to attend the Nats fell apart for me but I am already thinking ahead to next year. Hope to see you in New Jersey !

Here's a video of the TQ run for 4" NASCAR: VIDEO

Here's the last minute or so of the A-Main: VIDEO

This should probably be in the LMP thread, but here's the LMP TQ qualifier... This is what started it all...This caught us all off guard... I mean, Paul had set the TQ up to that point, and I don't think anyone thought his time would get beat: VIDEO
