1:24 Hard bodie LMP. How to convert a model into a slot car!

Well I got this one from a friend of mind to fix up, sure it was already cut down and had Platit chassis under it's ***!
LMP body with this type of look is not the easiest to fix up because the under carriege of the chassis is discarded all ready and that is where the spoiler and the exhaust components is attached to in the model kit.
It is a lovely model in a sidewinder configuration, so I had to make a cover for the gear.
Next challenge is to build the rear end with the spoiler and fit it to the upper body!

Here is some pictures at this point but it will get better I hope?
The model is a Audi R10 TDI.

Their is a lot of holes to fill in for this ride so it will be a proto type ride.
More later for this one to be done.

I know this one will .......

    Thumbs up

Nice color combo. Ride attitude looks acceptable too (of course one's own attitude may not be )
Wheels cost as much as the car....

Well I got this far with the R10.
Need to finish of my rides for Pete's race before I go back to this one.

I won't attache the rear mirrors due to that fact this ride will break like the real 1:1 car.

Sure I could have done more but I did not?

I guess there is some things that needs to be taken care of? I will let you know about it tomorrow.
