Still searching for that elusive smooth F-1 ride!! Here's another--Samson style center section--1/16 piano wire with 2 brass rails. Then a simple shaker style out pan for the body. We'll test it tomorrow on the King and the flat track!!

GOT a chance to try this baby out today!! It's only 97 grams--and is AMAZING on the Flat Track at BPR!! Very smooth and QUICK!!! Gotta try it on the King track another day---but it showed soo much promise--I'm going to build a couple more with these exact dimensions and see how they work!!! VERY HAPPY with it's performance--been a long time since I built an F-1 that was worth a ****!!!
