I've only taken apart a 2 or 3.
One, when it was submitted to the IRRA.
That one took a medium effort to push off of the can.
The other(s), I found to be very easy to push off of the can.
It's seems as they are lightly tacked, using Krazy glue.
That said, I've never seen it as a real security feature, regardless.
It would only work as one, if it was impossible to remove the endbell, without damaging it.
And still, only then if the endbell on those motors was unique and not available as a replacement item, or off another motor.
Anyone willing to cheat would just break/cut it off the motor and replace it with a different, identical looking one.
