The TRACK (the original) Weekly Racing June 6th

Numbers picked up a bit today as we saw a few folks return, a new racer, welcome Bob Young, and a traveler from Richmond, Don Latch.

First up was 4 In Nascar This was the Joe and Wendell show from the start. Wendell got a bit behind early but was reeling Joe in at the end but steady Joe knows what to do in that situation and held on for the win by 7 track sections. Mike Walpole was second rounding out the podium. Don Latch was a uncharacteristic 4th with Hip in 5th after some car troubles and Bob Young also having some car issues in 6th.

Next was 4.5 Nascar. Don decided to make his move and dominated this race start to finish. Wendell was second and Joe third. Bob Young was 4th with Hip in 5th.

The speedy Super Late Models were next. Tom Adams returned to show everyone how it's done by winning and setting a new track record. Don Latch was second and Hip Culy regrouped to finish third in the big kids class. Mike Walpole was fourth, Tony Moore 5th and Wendell Peters in 6th.

Thanks to those that support our weekly series, you are appreciated.

    See everyone next Saturday.

The track was perfect. On the tight side, just the way we like it. Roman you seem to have an efficient process for the cleaning and prepping. Lots of fun turnout or not. I will be back for more in a few weeks.
