The TRACK (the original) Weekly Racing June 20th
The group was small but the fun was big.
A typically hot steamy Washington DC summer Saturday did not deter the diehards from showing up to do battle on the speedy Gerding King.
First up was 4.5 Nascar Wendel Peters was the man to beat and had his car dialed in, Joe Weinstein gave chase but alas, this week it wasn't quite enough. Ralph coming back from an injury absence finished in 3rd, and if not for some gear troubles, Tom Tsai would have been right there for a shot at the podium.
In Super Late Models Brian Eardley looked like the guy to beat early but early troubles sent him to the pits. Wendell knew exactly what to do making laps and finishing first, Brian regrouped and managed a 2nd while Ralph also had some troubles and finished third.
Thanks to those that came and hope to see everyone next Saturday.
There are "Racers" and there are "Talkers".....which one are you?
