Test & Tune Refurbished UK Black in Washington, PA

January 10 & 11th 2020 there will be the first test and tune at Washington Slot Car Club in Washington PA on their refurbished UK Black. This is open to everyone and all types of cars from USRA & OCC to retro and is geared towards flat track so people can get some flat track time in with their ISRA cars before the worlds in Atlantic City NJ in 2021. We are working towards getting a discount motel rate. Track will be open Friday from 5pm-9pm and Saturday from 8am-?. If some want to stay Sunday that needs to be arranged beforehand. Track fees are $15 total. We will all throw in $ for lunch depending on the numbers. It is a club so parts are very limited. Please contact Rob Voska through slotblog or wallbasher at Old Weird Harold with any questions.

You guys did a very good job. Wish I still lived in my home town, I'd be over there all the time. Maybe if Barb and I decide to come home this spring or summer you'll let me stop by and turn a few laps.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.

It was redone a few years back & one of the best tracks surfaces I have been on.

The plan is to get guys to run the flat track and build a program as we go. We plan on racing when we get a group of guys together as it grows. My guess is we will start with A Pro because so many have those cars already. We were talking about a series as things get established.

Ron & Greg are great hosts. Super track where the had the ISRA nats a few years back. Motels and food are close.

Will you be joining us John? I'm loading the car tonight and leaving tomorrow when I get off work.
